This text explains what you consent to when you tick the marketing permission box on our site. It is a separate document from our KVKK Information Notice and Privacy Policy, which explains how we process personal data in general. Reading that notice does not mean you have given consent, and giving consent here does not replace it.
If you tick the marketing permission box when subscribing to our newsletter, creating an account or completing an order, you consent to receiving commercial electronic messages from us about new collections, campaigns, discounts and the products you left in your cart, by e-mail, SMS, telephone call or messaging applications.
You may withdraw your consent at any time, free of charge and without giving a reason. Use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any e-mail, reply to an SMS as instructed in it, change the setting in your account page, or write to info@merrez.com. Withdrawal takes effect as soon as it reaches us and applies going forward; messages already sent are not affected.
Advertising, marketing and analytics cookies are a separate matter and are not covered by this text. There is currently no in-site cookie preference panel on merrez.com; until one is published you can block or delete non essential cookies from your browser settings. Which cookies we use, who receives them and for how long they last are set out in our Cookie Policy.
Giving consent is entirely optional. If you do not give it, or you withdraw it later, you can still create an account, place orders, track your deliveries and use every other function of the site. We will only stop sending you promotional messages. Messages required for your order, such as order confirmation, shipping and delivery notifications, are not commercial electronic messages and continue to be sent.
