This notice explains which cookies and similar technologies we use on www.merrez.com and merrezb2b.com, why we use them, how long they last, which companies receive data through them and how you can manage your preferences. It is prepared under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).
A cookie is a small text file placed on your browser by the website you visit. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser; persistent cookies stay until they expire or you delete them. First party cookies are set by our own site, third party cookies by another company whose script runs on our pages.
The tables below list the cookies that are actually created on our site. If you see a cookie that is not listed here, please tell us.

These are never created for shop visitors; they appear only when our own staff sign in to the management panel: merrez_session (panel session, 8 hours), panel_sonuc (action result message, 30 seconds), mz_kart_test (card payment test gate, 2 hours), etsy_pkce and etsy_state (Etsy connection security values, 10 minutes).
Besides cookies we use your browser storage. These are not cookies technically, but we declare them because they hold information about you. Kept until you delete them: mzAdresler (delivery addresses you saved during checkout, kept only in your own browser), mrz_son_urunler (recently viewed products), mzSonAramalar (recent searches), mrz_secim (a copy of your language and country choice), and multiFbc, lastExternalReferrer, lastExternalReferrerTime, which are written by the Meta pixel and not by us. Cleared when you close the tab: technical keys used for the visit recording id, cart count, error reporting, returning to your place in a list, the guest checkout choice and preventing an order from being counted twice.
To find where the site is difficult to use and to fix errors, we keep a technical recording of your visit: pages viewed, mouse movement, scrolling and clicks. This recording goes only to our own server and to no other company. Text you type is not recorded: form fields, e-mail, phone, address and card details are masked in your browser before the recording is created, and the payment frame is excluded entirely. Recordings are deleted after one day.
In the cases below your data is transferred to companies outside Türkiye. The Personal Data Protection Board has not issued an adequacy decision for any country, so these transfers are subject to Article 9 of the Law.
The Meta pixel and Google Analytics do notrun on merrezb2b.com. That address uses only strictly necessary and functional cookies, the mrz_zid visitor number and Cloudflare's own service.
There is currently no in-site cookie preference panel on merrez.com. Until one is published you can block or delete non essential cookies from your browser settings: Chrome (Settings, Privacy and security, Third party cookies), Firefox (Settings, Privacy and Security, Cookies and Site Data), Safari (Preferences, Privacy), Edge (Settings, Cookies and site permissions), Opera (Settings, Privacy and security, Cookies). If you also block strictly necessary cookies, the cart and sign in will not work. You can additionally reset the advertising id on your phone or computer and turn off off-site activity sharing in the advertising preferences of your Meta account.
You may exercise your rights under Article 11 of the Law by writing to us at Osmanağa Mah. Karadut Sok. No: 8 Kadıköy / İstanbul, or from the e-mail address you have already registered with us, to info@merrez.com. We answer within thirty days at the latest.
We update this notice whenever the cookies we use or our partners change. The current version is always published on this page and can be followed from the update date above.
